  I've used Quotetracker since 07 even after they ceased to provide the support in 11. I don't use any indicators and most of time I do my math using their raw data. I don't know why, I started to have the problem last week. I was too busy and too tired to find a solution on the week days.

  I guess I will try Ninjatrader which I played with several year ago if I have no luck with QT.  God, I hate this. I don't need the FANCY charts, all I need is RAW data.


Ok, switch day: 4/1/2013.

The raw data I got from NJ doesn't match what I got it from QT.  I finally fixed the QT issue.
I got the fix from:

But it  didn't work.  It asked me for optionExpress account which I don't have. Out of frustration, I just copied all the files over without  overwriting my existing QT files.  That solved the problem.

I need to back up the QT software so that I will never waste time like today. The more simple it is, the better. I will uninstall Ninjatrader now !

Monthly report (1,499.50 -- 1,565.00)

  It looks pretty flat from the chart. But I realized $xxK profit this month. I know the area I need to improve. But I'm happy with the result after I made those trading mistakes.

Although I bought one es at 1563. I want ES open 20 pts+ lower on Sunday night!  It is ridiculous that it just goes up like that. I'm so sick of buying longs!

Why I Blog?

   I've been writing this blog for a while. I realize that I need to give a reason why I did it. Trading is a very lonely game.  No one at work knows that I actually trade  and watch the market EVERY DAY:-).   I need a place to let it out.

  I'm here not to inspire anybody since I'm still a student to Mr. Market. As I get busy with the project
, I probably won't trade much. As matter of fact, I haven't traded as much as I did for the last two weeks. I'm just happy that I made money both on up and down days. It is huge for me :-)

 
  Here is me and my man(for now :-) ha! ha!). He knows nothing about stocks and the market! I've forced him listen to my market commentaries but he simply doesn't  care!  That is another reason I blog.

 

I planned to take it easy.

But I woke up to see the gap down! So I had to take action and bought some ES at 1548. I really can take it easy if  internet and TV are off.  I have to pay the ticket from  the gain. It pissed me off that I got a speeding ticket last night on the way to buy him a pack of cigarettes!

That is what I did today!

   Let money work for me :-). My account is higher than yesterday.It was higher yesterday than Friday's close. I must have done something right. I've reached the goal for March.

   FYI, I added some long today. Yes, I added long at 155X and shorted at 153X. That is how I roll :-).

   I will take it easy about the trading as I've been doing for the next two days. I will start with full power in April. until then... CIAO! 

The market surely

is emotional. Up and down, down and up. I have no control over it. But I do have control towards myself! (I hope so). At this moment, my account reaches a new high and I only did one ES trade.

• Follow the trading plan. Only trade when the setup is there.
• Don't over trade.
• Don't lose MONEY.
• Don't get emotional while trading! (Hmmm, I need to work on that).
• Treat the account like an bank account. (Don't expect to get rich in one day! Don't gamble.)
• Treat the market like an ATM .

四月前瞻

四月份是一年中股票表现最好的月份（是DOW最好的月份，标指第三好的月份，那指第四好的月份）。四月一般有以下几个特征：

1。石油股继续表现好。一般会好到五月九号。

2。加元比美元强劲。一般加元在3月到6月都比美元表现好，其实是4月。

3。股市一般表现强劲，因为这是个earning month. 一般股市会从月初涨到18号，然后Pause。 一般 Consumer Discretionary, Energy and Industrials表现最好。但是Telecom, Consumer Staples and Health Care相对不好.

4。Rate of three month T-Bill tends tobottom在4月15号左右。一般来说，Financial stocks 从月初到4月15表现不错

Weekly update(1,529.50-- 1,555.75)

   My guess last week for this week was (1530--1565). Lower range is pretty close. Unfortunately I shorted at 1530 on Sunday. My mistake actually started with last week. It really affects me mentally since I was repeating the same mistake I made last September.
   I have the worst performance week for this year. It is slightly better than the first week of January which only had 3 trading days.
  The market this week actually has provided very good trading opportunities.  But I'm just emotionally sick of it. I'm glad that this week trading is over for me.
   No, I'm not in cash position. (I have more than 20 contracts ES/Options). It is crazy that I'm able to keep my account nearly flat this week.  I will take it easy next week too if the trading range is the same.
  It is SNOWING here. Haha, that makes me happy.

Weekly report(1,540.50 ---1,558.75)

 This week I made 4,287.67 last 4 days(from the IB statement), minus $300 loss today.  That is how much I made this week.  I've collected
$8,533.55-$300 profit since March 1st. So I have only  2K to go to achieve my goal for this month.

Weekly report (MAR 1507--1553.5) (JUN 1501.5-1547.75)

Today it is actually a very good day for trading. But I screwed up big time and my emotions were up and down. Actually my account was not affected that much. It was all in my mind. So I adjusted positions a bit and call it a day. There are always opportunities in the market.

P&L for this week: $3788.

P&L in March so far:$4,245.88.

P&L YTD: $21399.

I just realized that I haven't had such a loss for a long time. So I post it out to remind myself that I will never never do it again:-)
Thinking it over, actually I did better in February since there are less trading days in February than in Jan. So I feel better now.
