After a difficult start of the year, I'm going back to my old trading style. I've been doing good for the last two weeks. The trading was tough on the last Wednesday when ES dove below the previous low on last August. I gave up at ES 1836. I felt that I made the right decision when ES fell to 1805. But later on, I overcame my fear and thought it was not end of the world. I bought the positions back at the early reversal. Oh, well. I did save myself a lot of money by the change of the heart. Today ES is at 1899 and I had more than 10 contracts. :-)

Here is the trade for Wednesday. It was to book the profit for the short positions and roll over the long positions.

As a result, I had a very good week.

I  think the market will be still volatile. We are not out of the woods yet although we saw big rally on Friday. Anyway, I still have long and short positions in hand.

U.S. stocks post worst 10-day start to a year in history

That is a very difficult start of the year.  But on the other hand, I'm getting better. :-)

It is all about surviving first and making money later.

I didn't post much on the blog but I've been active and posted the comments  on http://bbs.wenxuecity.com/finance/ with ID "绿油油"

1/4/16 Monday--- bloody sell off.

History repeats itself.  It was triggered by Chinese's market.

Update at 9:40am:

It is not end of the world. The more it dropped, the more opportunity we might have. But it is time focus on work for now.

 Here is my goal:

To be a better version of myself this January compared to the last January. I'm on the right track so far.

2015 Review continues. 2015 January.

I finished reviewing the January trade record. I've made so many mistakes. I relied heavily on the market speculation for the next day. I ignored the oil price was partially a driven source for Wednesday and Thursday's move.  I didn't do any protection before FED Notes. Selling into close,

Only good thing  is that the trading size is well managed. I didn't use margin.

2015 Review continues--- my performance

I lost money in August and September.  I managed to make money in January.  I did so-so in December although the ending was not good. It has been an easy ride for the rest of the months.

My other accounts are pretty much the same as S&P.

I hope that I can do better in 2016.  More analysis later.
