I already figured it out what to do tomorrow. Did I? LOL

Just set the positions neutral by adding more shorts and closing some longs tomorrow. I will adjust my positions tomorrow. I have been slightly bullish until now.  I would like to be more bearish down the road.

Of course I will change the point of view if the market disagrees with me.

I'm happy that I'm actually making money from this.  It is like to play games with the market. (I do a lot of  "if else" thinking when I open my positions).

Actually the commissions is $12, not $8. I think I can get more tomorrow. (let's find out). Considering it is a short week, I don't complain about the result.

It is a short week

When the market was down for almost 200 pts on Tuesday, I only had several hundred dollar paper loss.  Yesterday it is way much recovered. I've not adjusted my positions at all this week except I trade 1 or 2 contracts of the NQ future for fun.

Today, it is the same situation that I don't need to do anything. But the account balance is higher than what it is yesterday.

Maybe I don't need to do anything either tomorrow. Let's see.

I've spent $8 on commissions this week so far. Yes, it is another winning week. :-)

Ok,  I will go back to work.

No specific goal anymore.

My account reaches the record high. I expect that I will just do the same boring thing until it doesn't work anymore.

It really sucks to set a goal. Last weekend, I bet with my husband that we are going to do something in my way if I'm able to make 4K this week.  Oh, my god. It was one of the most stupid bets I've ever made with him and I will never do it again. It gave me a lot of pressure!  The goal of not losing money is so wonderful. I actually am able to bring more money home if I have that goal in mind.

The market has been so dull this week. Although I reached my goal (I expect more to come tomorrow), it is not an easy money.

Ok, my goal next week is not to lose money, period!

Here is the chart. I will keep it uptrend as much as possible.

So far it is true...

Last Weekend, I wrote that

"I expect I make money next week also. :-)"

It is repetitive. So is the market. I have much better risk and emotion controls than before. That is the most important. The market is up and down, down and up and is out of my control. I only need to take care of myself so that I'm comfortable and relaxed all the time in the market.

It is here.

I've made $$$ from Jan 2nd to today. Oh, well, if I have to exclude the commissions,  the statement is not true. But it is pretty close. My goal is not to make 10K in a week but is not to lose money.  Once the market gives the money to me, I'm keeping it!

It only proves that the method I have used is working and I'm sticking to it.

Another thing is that I didn't get charged any fine all week last week from my broker! Oh yeah! I'm feeling great!

I expect I make money next week also. :-)

It is getting there.

I didn't trade much last week and spent around $30 on commissions. I won't complain over $7.4K profit with this amount of commissions.

I reduced my positions from 35% to 20% since I really need to focus on something other than stocks. The market has been stuck in this small range for a long time. Something might happen.  I need to get ready for that. (Just in case)

Don't jump in!

I reviewed my trades yesterday and found several problems. I like to jump in tradinging too fast in the early morning. But sometimes it doesn't work.

Monday rally usually doesn't sustain. As a result, I will wait until the last hour to see whether any action is needed.

Perfect.  I can focus on work.

Update at 10:40am:

Cool, the market pulls back as I expected. I bought 1 NQ at 4474 for fun. Otherwise, I don't need to trade.

End of April, beginning of May!

I'm pretty happy this year. I haven't made a major trading mistake that upsets me.  Oh, well, I have the what-if moments. Here is one example: I added the short positions on Thursday but I didn't add any short position yesterday. :-).   If I didn't do that, my account would have been much higher.

Oh, well. I can't get perfect entry. The good thing is that I can adjust the positions later on. Check out the commissions. I'm pretty sure that my commissions will be a lot of less this year!

I'm happy that I can control the loss pretty well when the market sells off.  That is really a good progress!
