hahaha! Something funny about day trading

　不如交易苦。

　对着K线图，

　一哭一上午。

　哭了一上午，

ouch!

Easy come and easy go! it is okay :-) Oops. It is worse than S&P today. I didn't trade at all.  I would have lost more if I did since I thought that dropping 300pts on Dow was over done!
 Hey, half glass full! I still made $XXXX this month while the market is negative. :-). My future account is still very positive.

That is why I have a job to take care of the mortgages and bills.

I'm going to sleep in tomorrow.

  I mean that I will get up after 7AM and get ready for work. I made more in the after hours trading today after MSFT reported the earning.  It is a good week and I will take tomorrow off. (HAHA.. It is hard for me to keep my words). When the market moves, I see the opportunities.

  I'm guessing it will be a small range day tomorrow? 
 

1/23/14 Thursday Big down day!

  I didn't play to trade. But last night Chinese PMI data was weak and dragged down US futures. I knew that it would be a good trading day. So I traded.  I don't trade everyday on PCRA account unless some of positions are totally against me.

Working hard?

   I bought some future contracts on Friday and sold today. Lesson? I should have waited. My profit could have been tripled!  Oh, well. Profit is profit.

Here is my goal.

As long as  my performance is better or the same as SPX performance, I will be happy.

I will post by the end of the month if I have time.

    I will not post much after today.  I think the trick of trading is always to think about not losing money and always learn from the mistake from the past. Nothing is really new in the stock market.

I decide to bet the earning on

AAPL.  I will do it tomorrow!

Yesterday and today. (Nasdaq)

  Yesterday Nasdaq was down 61pts.   I took some risk and bought a lot of NQ futures yesterday. My account got hit. But I stayed calm.  Today, I sold all at high. (not the highest: 3565). But it is still pretty good.

   Okay, I'm done day-trading. I collected  $XXX1 today. I will focus on work going forward.
 Swing trading is much better than day-trading.

Tomorrow's low should probably be higher than today's low (ES: 1821.75).  High? maybe 1835?

1/2/14 Thursday dow down 135

I could have held longer for my last position but I felt like going for lunch.  Oh, well. I will not do the day-trading like today in the future. It is kind of slow at work.

I also dumped the stock I mentioned last night in my another account. huh! it dropped 3.5% after I was out. I'm happy. :-)

Trading ideas

1. If the market rallies hard tomorrow, buy VXX at $42-$42.5. Hold 5 trading days?
2. Close those two holdings.

3. more? maybe.

7 years

    I've been very actively trading for 7 years. I have another blog that records the market condition, my trading analysis and other interesting facts.  Last night, I looked at it quickly before going to the firework  in the downtown. I can't help admiring myself: "Oh, my god,  I've been so into it day in and out, even I was on vacation. " Dedication pays off.:-)

    My job interest becomes secondary. I only finish the job.  With the trading, I constantly look into how I can improve, how to avoid my weakness and so on.

   Never give up and never stop learning!
