ReplyDeleteI agree that the best path to mastery is a total commitment usually requiring a fair amount of blood, sweat and tears and most notable time unless one is a natural savant.
One also needs to know their system well enough to evolve it to go with their strengths and weaknesses- and this is where I think those who run automated vs discretionary systems run into trouble since automated systems likely hinder getting a more intrinsic feel of market action and behavior.
