Range:  RJH17( 1339-1374) . Open 1370 close 1352
             ESH17( 2253-2273) open: 2270 close 2266
             NQH17(5025-5083) OPen:5056 close 5058

 From the charts in below, I still think ES is the best trading instrument.

The market made it high on January 6. It's pretty range bound the whole week including Friday. I did the most of trading on Friday. I was worried about Jan 19th and 20th from my last week's post. It turned out there was not much, although it was volatile on Friday.

My own account: 

40% of the profit comes from NQ. The rest is from ES.

Market is flat. I haven't done much this week besides holding the existing positions.

Range so far: (2257.5--- 2270.5). I was out yesterday when the spx future touched 2257.5 from the high.  Well, missing one entry is not a big deal.

If the market keeps moving in this range, I probably will not do anything. Maybe I can do a lot of work. :-)

Next week!

Last week, my ES  number was  ES( 2255+/-5 pts -2280+/-5pts). The actual range is 2248.5-2275
NQ(  4990-5063 )

Next week's range . ES( 2250+/-5 pts -2280+/-5pts). It might retest 2240 area. But it also might be up, and up with thin volumes next several days. The market is closed on Monday.

What's going to happen on Jan 19th or Jan 20th? Maybe nothing is going to happen. We'll see.

I'm thinking about reducing some position first thing on Tuesday. 

 Vix was around $11 the whole week. Fear: 57.

It's a very good week again.  I did trade according to the plan. But I do need to spend some time reviewing the
